Over the past few days and continuing for the next few weeks, the team has been busy implementing changes to the MIN. These changes are being made as result of direct feedback we have been receiving and also to make help make way for the Service Provider Directory and Classified Ad's which will be coming soon.

Here is a quick overview of some of the changes:

• SIG's or Special Interest Groups - The forum application has been temporarily removed. This was an area intended for discussion between MIN members on a variety of topics. As activity in this area has been low, the MIN will focus on other areas of high usage and value to its members.
• Navigation - Some items in the navigation bar have been re-worded to reflect an action. This has been done in an effort to make it easier for new visitors and members to quickly understand everything they are able to do in the MIN.
• Advertising - Advertising spaces and have been minimized or eliminated throughout many of the MIN's sub-pages. The MIN team is currently reviewing the advertising program to discover ways to improve its success. This has the added benefit of improving page load times. Please note that this does not affect manufacturers in Waterloo Region from taking advantage of the free advertising program.
• Resources - The Resource Wiki has temporarily been taken off-line while this area is redesigned and rebuilt. The wiki will become the new home for the Service Provider and Supplier Directory launching soon.
• Expert Blogs and Channels - The Expert Blogs and channel landing pages previous design has been removed while they are redesigned. Stay tuned for a cleaner, easier to access look and feel in the coming weeks.
