Businesses in economically beleaguered Ontario are reporting an improvement in performance and feel optimistic about the future, according to an Ontario Chamber of Commerce survey released yesterday. The survey found that while 43 per cent of businesses say their performance today is worse than a year ago, only 35 per cent described their performance as weaker today than six months ago. And nearly half of them say they expect greater performance in the next year.

My personal feedback from customers is that Canada is already starting to come out of recession. Unfortunately, good news usually doesn't sell newspapers or other media.
Michael Jackson dying is probably going to help the economy more than anything else because the media is reporting on almost nothing else and this is diverting attention from the usual doom and gloom economic news reported by so-called economic experts who never forecast this whole recession in the first place.
My opinion for what it's worth.
