About
The founding partner of Gowlings Hamilton, Gary Graham is a business law lawyer with business management experience and National Leader of Gowlings' Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Group. For five years in the 1990s, Gary served as president of Westinghouse Canada Inc. He has considerable experience in the resolution of commercial disputes. He has been involved in takeover bids, lock-up agreements, major international share and asset transfers and a broad range of customer, supplier, employee, inventor and other contracts over a wide variety of businesses, including the defence, energy and broader public sectors of the economy.
Gary has extensive experience in employment law, having been involved in labour arbitration, collective bargaining, employment contracts, injunctions and employment-related civil litigation.
In addition, Gary has international law experience, especially in matters relating to the U.S., and experience in the health-care sector as counsel to several public hospitals in Ontario, and as a director of a public hospital.

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association (Chairman 1995), the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce (President 1998/99) and McMaster University, where he is a member of the Board of Governors. He is also a Director of Hamilton Utilities Corporation and the Burlington Golf and Country Club.
